Before popsockets grips, there were buttons
In 2010, Popsockets’ founder was sick of his earbud cable getting tangled, so he glued two buttons buttons to the back of his phone and wrapped the earbud cord around the buttons. To improve the idea, he developed about 60 different prototypes, making the buttons expand and collapse via an accordion mechanism, so that they could function as both a stand and a grip. In 2014, Barnett launched the business out of his garage in Colorado, and has sold over 40 million PopSockets grips around the world. We are the exclusive distributor of Pop socket in Moldova.
The popsocket surprises you anytime you need to “manipulate” your smartphone or tablet while talking on the phone, or watching videos on Youtube, or taking a selfie, and even when you are playing.
In 2012, NPR-USA has named Popsockets the coolest stand for smartphone. In 2013, the American magazine WIRED, in partnership with Mercedes Benz, gave to Popsockets the Fueling innovation Award. In 2015, at the Consumer Electronics Show in LA, USA Today has called Popsockets the coolest technology that must be seen and tested, and recently, Wall Street Journal wrote: Popsocket is the best compact phone stand that we have ever seen.
