Pioneer — from the beginning
Pioneer was founded in 1938 in Japan by Nozomu Matsumoto, making speakers in his garage. Pioneer opened its first office in the United States in the Empire State Building in 1972. Since then, it became an international manufacturer of audio and video products that may be used home, in the car or even at the office. We are the official distributor of Pioneer in Moldova.
World leader in electronics products
Today, Pioneer is a world leader in electronics products, appreciated for introducing innovations as laser disc, car CD player, GPS car navigation, DVD-Video player, high definition plasma display and organic electro-luminscent display. Till today, Pioneer still develops and creates innovative and high-tech entertainment and electronic products.

Their slogan “sound, vision, soul” means: «sound» — Pioneer’s origin, the audio field; «vision» — Pioneer maintains a leadership position with Blu-ray Disc technology and next generation plasma displays at the core; «soul» — Pioneer’s determination to raise entertainment to the level of pure emotion. At Pioneer, «Move the Heart and Touch the Soul,» expresses their mission to stir as many senses and sensibilities as they can through the wonders of everlasting sound and vision.
